1000 Engine Rally
The annual 1000 Engine Rally will take at Astle Park on the 21st and 22nd June, 2014.
This popular annual event began life in 1985 at Tatton Park and the original aim was to gather 1000 stationary engines in one location. As it turns out, this has never happened with just stationary engines but the big benefit has been the inclusion of mobile steam engines, vintage vehicles and motorcycles.
There's always lots to see and do at the rally. There are usually beer tents, auto jumble stalls, commercial and military vehicles and a display by the Anson Museum.
