Adam Wins A Prize
At the beginning of the Autumn Term our school entered the Educational Library Service World War 1 Competition. Mrs Adams submitted several pieces of work which the children had completed as part of their topic projects about the war.
We were delighted to hear that Adam Cunningham, Year 6, had won a prize for his World War 1 project about life in the trenches.
On Thursday 4th December Mrs Adams, Adam and his friend Jonathan attended a special prize giving ceremony which was held at the library in Winsford. The prize winners were each given a signed copy of 'The Story of World War 1,' by John Malam, for the school library and a book token for their personal use.
