Annual Parish Meeting May 16th
The Annual Parish Meeting will be held on May 16th in the Village Hall at 7.30pm. Now that the Local Plan is reaching the critical stage of allocating development sites to areas like Chelford, a senior Cheshire East Officer will give an update on what will happen in the next 6 months. The Parish Council has also embarked on a major project called the Neighbourhood Plan, which will give residents an opportunity to shape the future of Chelford. An update on progress will be given by the Chairman of the Council.
During the public forum session, you have the opportunity to have your say on village issues which affect you. This is an important meeting for you to find out what is happening to our parish now and in the future. Chelford is going through a process of change with the Stobart development and the market closure, so we must ensure that such change will be positive and beneficial for us all. Please put the date in your diaries and come along to listen and have your say.
