Home » Newsroom » Be Aware

We have received several reports of attempted burglaries to houses in Chelford via patio doors. Also we have been notified of a substantial theft of equipment from a garden shed which was locked and secure, close to the village. Please ensure that doors are properly locked and that sheds are as secure as you can make them. Avoid keeping valuable equipment in sheds if at all possible. Be vigilant and keep a look out for any unusual vehicle or people movements in the locality. Contact the police if you are suspicious.
