Be On Your Guard

Home » Newsroom » Be On Your Guard

Following on from two arrests in Chelford this month, when burglars were spotted by a vigilant passer by during the day, residents are warned to be aware of unusual activity in their neighbourhood. In particular, look out for suspicious vans or cars which appear to be driving up and down or parked for no reason, or strangers wandering around. If you are concerned then you should contact the police and report the activity. Always make sure doors are locked, windows are shut and alarms are activated, when you leave your premises or retire for the night. Make sure garden equipment and particularly expensive machinery, is safely secured and sheds are locked when not in use. Don't take chances!
