Chelford Brownies rule the world!

Chelford Brownies used a giant inflatable globe to make a point during their special 'church' service at Chelford School last Sunday (7th).

The theme of the family service was 'taking care of our planet' to mark Environment Day. During the service, the Brownies handed out green 'tips' for how people could take an action to help look after the countryside and improve their carbon footprint.

With about 55 in the congregation, there were plenty of tips to stick to their globe.
The Brownies also displayed some of their work towards the Brownie Environment Badge, and after the service helped hand round delicious home-made cake.

Their next 'church' service at Chelford School will be at 10am on Sunday July 5th to mark 'Sea Sunday.' More cake is promised — so do come and support this village activity if you can.
