Connecting Chelford, Chelford Together and Cheshire East Carers Hub present a Carers Information Event at Chelford Community Hub, Astle Court, Elmstead Road, Chelford SK11 9BS on Thursday 14th June 1pm to 3pm

Come along and join us for tea/coffee and cake (free of charge) and find out about services for Carers in Cheshire East and speak to those who can support you in your caring role.

So many people are missing out on the help, advice, support and financial help through grants that they could obtain. Many people do not see themselves as "carers" as they think that looking after a loved one, relative, family or friend is just something they do.
David Kent Secretary of Chelford Together said " As many people may know I care for Mike who has physical disabilities, it's just something we do for our partners or family without even thinking about it. One day I saw a form to fill in in Chelford Surgery to register as a Carer which I did. I didn't realise how much help there is out there to help people from courses to help you care and look after yourself to support, advice and even some financial help to enable you to have time out from caring duties such as leisure activities, breaks or household items which may make your life as a Carer so much easier. So I'd definitely recommend coming along to the event"
