Chelford Brownies go horse riding
Brownies ride for a badge
Chelford Brownies spent an evening at Mobberley Riding Stables recently, as part of their work for the Big Brownie Birthday badge which commemorates the Brownie Centenary.
The girls were divided into three groups, and rotated between the lecture theatre, where they learned about tacking up a horse; the stables where they were shown how to groom a pony, and an indoor arena where they each spent half an hour riding a pony under supervision and instruction by the stable staff.
