Chelford Drama Festival
What a fantastic Festival we had last week!
We had record entries of a very high standard and record audiences, culminating in Chelford Juniors winning the Adjudicator's Special Award for 'The Queen's Orchid' and Daisy Bessant from our Youth play 'Windsong', winning Best Individual Performance (that's of the whole festival!) Youth member Anna Saunders was also nominated for this award and the cast of the Senior play 'Death of a Gerbil' received very creditable comments, with Josh Evans -Smith being complimented on a masterful performance.
Next week we have the Youth section competing again at Wilmslow Guild Festival on Wednesday 10th and the Seniors on Thursday 11th June. If you missed these performances or would like to see them again, click here go to Wilmslow Guild website for ticket details.
