Cruel Shooting Of Pet Cat

On the night of Sunday, 20th April a pet cat was shot twice with a high powered air rifle. This was likely to have happened somewhere in the vicinity of Robin Lane or Astle Court. The cat's thigh was shattered and he's undergoing surgery today (Tuesday 22nd April).

The police have been informed and are taking the matter very seriously.

The cat's owner has asked that everyone be vigilant as this cruel act has been very disturbing for everyone involved.

If anyone has any information or has even heard any rumours, would you please contact Cheshire Police as soon as possible on phone number 101. The officer dealing with this is Mike Dowber and the incident number is 66621/4/14.
