Disturbance at Mary Dendy Hospital

Home » Newsroom » Disturbance at Local Hospital

We've had some queries about the emergency services activity last Saturday. Here's the answer.

As Chelford was settling down into a peaceful Saturday evening, in anticipation of some World Cup action on the box, a little way down the road a large disturbance was taking place at the Mary Dendy hospital. Riot police, firefighters and ambulances were scrambled to the hospital with the sound of sirens causing concern around the area of Chelford roundabout.

Fortunately, it appears that everything was resolved peacefully and no-one was hurt. The full story can be seen here
