Donation for Chelford Community Hub
Chelford Community Hub was established as a charitable trust in January with a view to taking over the running of the Astle Court Community Room in Elmstead Road, Chelford, from Peaks and Plains Housing Trust.
As many of you will know, the Astle Court Community Room has long been used to provide many types of activities for CTARA, Chelford Parish Council, community groups, individuals and families.
Chelford Community Hub took on the lease from Peaks and Plains and are now responsible for raising the funds to cover the running costs to keep this valuable resource operating.
In a remarkable act of generosity, the running costs for 2018 have been covered by a donation from Ben and Charlie Holland, directors of Spinney, a Cranage based motorhome and caravan company. The Hub team are extremely grateful to Ben and Charlie for their wonderful generosity and community spirit.
A great article on how this all came about can be seen by clicking on this link to the Knutsford Guardian.
You'll hear much more soon about plans for how the Community Hub will develop, so keep checking out the website.
