Flood Disruption & Christmas Travel
As everyone probably knows, there has been massive disruption to travel throughout Cumbria and southern Scotland.
The west coast mainline has been badly affected. For the all latest updates, click here.
In addition, there are some improvement works taking place over the Christmas period.
Major improvement works along the West Coast Mainline are taking place during the Christmas and the New Year period, affecting all trains to and from London Euston. As always, there will be no services running on Christmas day and Boxing day (25 & 26 December 2015).
On all other days between Thursday 24 December 2015 — Friday 1 January 2016, there will be a reduced and limited service (with longer journey times as a result of diversions).
