Free Balance & Fun Exercise Classes
FREE BALANCE & FUN EXERCISE CLASSES
As part of Chelford Tenants & Residents Association (CTARA) successful funding bid from Cheshire East "You Decide" they are now able to offer free sessions at their Otago classes. These classes form part of their bid to deliver their "Happy & Health in Chelford" project to help alleviate social isolation and loneliness and improve health in the over 50s.
The sessions help Arthritis & Osteoporosis, increase strength and balance and help decrease falls and are delivered by a qualified Otago instructor. Perhaps you, or someone you know have recently had a fall, or may be at risk of falling? Perhaps you know someone who may just want to get out and meet people and have fun! The sessions are relaxed and cater for an individuals requirement, so there is no pressure! Bernie the instructor also included a fun exercise to music slot in the session!
You can just turn up, but just check with Bernie that the class is running, you do not need a referral, although our great Chelford Surgery team have been informing patients who may benefit about the sessions. The sessions are free!
WHEN: Wednesdays 3pm to 4pm
WHERE: Astle Court Community Room, Elmstead Road, Chelford
REFRESHMENTS served at end of session, great for a chat and company!
FURTHER INFORMATION OR QUESTIONS? Phone Bernadette on 07758 733312.
CTARA hasn't their own video (yet!) but have a look at this one about Otago from Welsh Wales!
