Illegal Waste Dumping on New Homes Site

The former Eddie Stobart site, in Knutsford Road, which is now owned by Jones Homes Ltd, was targeted in an incident at the beginning of October.

According to the Environment Agency, the incident is being linked to a wider scale investigation which is looking into waste dumping at various sites across Merseyside.

A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "We are currently investigating the dumping of illegal waste in Knutsford and following several lines of enquiry to identify suspects."
