Jones Homes Latest

Detailed plans for the housing development on the Stobart site have now been submitted by Jones Homes. The plans are for a mix of 94 dwellings ranging from 5 bed to 1 bed properties, including 28 properties classed as affordable homes.

The various detailed elements of the plans are now available for viewing on the Cheshire East website (click here) and enter the planning reference 16/0504M .

Residents are advised to scrutinise the plans and where appropriate submit comments to Cheshire East. The Parish Council will be discussing the plans at its next meeting on March 10th and residents may also wish to communicate any views to parish councillors prior to the meeting.

The development will bring forward financial investments to the benefit of the immediate locality, including the provision of an education commuted sum of £195,233 to support the local schools and a community contribution of £75,000, together with a new pedestrian crossing on Chelford Road and a children's play area at the development.
