Lancs Cricket Legends In Chelford

Home » Newsroom » Lancs Cricket Legends In Chelford

Chelford Cricket Club will once again be holding their highly successful 'Lancashire Legends Roadshow at Chelford Village Hall on Friday 26th September at 7.30.

For anyone with even a passing interest in cricket this is a must as you'll have the opportunity to listen to and meet Mike "Winker' Watkinson and that thorn in the Yorkshire flesh, Warren Hegg. This should be a great night with lots of fascinating anecdotes from two highly skilled and tough competitors. Click on the picture for a larger view of the details.

Committee Membership

Andrew Duffy of Chelford Cricket Club has also enquired if there is anybody in the village who may be interested in getting involved with Chelford CC on a committee basis. The club is very successful and they are keen to try and expand the committee as they would welcome someone who could provide a Chelford village input.

The club is keen to introduce members of the village, parish council etc. into the club and committee. There is the opportunity for a wide range of roles to suit the individual.

If you are interested and willing to contribute to this strong and friendly club, please contact Andrew Duffy via the Chelford Cricket Club website.
