The Lights Come On Again
After what seems like an age of living in darkness, the lights by the Egerton Arms are back on again, much to the delight of Egerton landlord, Jeremy Hague.
Your ward councillor, Mr George Walton, has managed to prevail, he says, "Contrary to Cheshire East Council's policy of turning off street lighting in certain areas to save money, I am delighted that, after intense lobbying and badgering on behalf of concerned local residents for the past two years, the lights on the A537 adjacent to the Egerton Arms have, this week, been switched back on".
Well done, Councillor Walton!
