Lower Withington WI Report

Home » Newsroom » Lower Withington WI Report

Our May meeting was opened as usual by our President Anne, who welcomed us all and we went through our usual paperwork, she mentioned that we had lots of trips and outings to think about and thanked everyone for supporting our recent theatre visit, where a very enjoyable evening was had by all.

Anne then introduced our speaker for the evening Paul Unwin with his talk entitled 'Doorstep Crime Awareness.' He informed us all about rogue traders and distraction burglaries, it was all very 'eye opening' and informative, with lots to think about!

We then enjoyed a very generous supper. Our next Meetings are on Wednesday's 27th June when Neil Hurst will be entertaining us with 'Britain had Talent,' and 25th July when Mel Latham will talk to us about 'Chutney and Cheer,' at Lower Withington Village Hall; why not make a resolution, to come along and join us! e-mail: lowerwithingtonwi@gmail.com for more information
