The September Meeting was opened by Karen Taylor in Anne Daughtrey's absence.

We sang Jerusalem and then Rachel updated the Members on the Shoe Box Appeal and Tracey Warrington gave us a brief report on the National Federation Meeting.

Then Karen introduced John Taylor to us, he gave us a very information talk on 'Herbs for Health'. He told us he has been a Consulting medical Herbalist since 2002. Herbs are all around us and they are good for colds, flu, aches, pains and arthritis.

We then enjoyed, as usual, a very lovely supper.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 22nd November at Lower Withington Village Hall and will commence at 7.30pm, where our speaker will be Ann Russell on 'Christmas Flowers', why not come along and join us.
