Our June meeting was our Garden Meeting and we were joined by lots of visitors from other local WI's, our meeting was opened as usual by our President Anne, who welcomed us all and we went through our usual paperwork, she also mentioned that we are trying to start a Darts Team and that, we had done very well at The Cheshire Show!

Anne then introduced our speaker for the evening Neil Hurst, with 'Britain had Talent.' Neil is a very talented actor, presenter and singer, as well as being very funny, he is perhaps best known for playing character roles on TV and in Theatre.

We then enjoyed a very generous supper. Our next Meetings are on Wednesday's 25th July when Mel Latham will talk to us about 'Chutney and Cheer,' at Lower Withington Village Hall, and Wednesday 22nd August when we shall be having an 'Evening Outing,' why not make a resolution, to come along and join us! e-mail: for more information.
