Maybe it's how you complain .....

Here's an interesting tale with a moral from Anne Gerhard. This is what she says:

In August 2015, I was so appalled by the awful condition of the road signs at the top of Dixon Drive/Knutsford Road, I wrote a letter of complaint to the Highways Department.

They duly replied sending me a map, asking me to pinpoint the actual signs, then wrote again telling me that an Inspector had seen them, and new ones would be put up in due course.

Thinking I would hear no more about it, and not really believing their promises, I was overjoyed the other day to see two shiny, new, signs standing strong and erect at the top of Dixon Drive. And what a difference they make to the entrance of our lovely estate.!!

I guess the moral of the story is, never be afraid to complain.......
