Perfect 10 For Station Volunteers
Chelford Station Volunteers were thrilled to receive yet another prize at the Cheshire Best Kept Station awards. This year, they were the winners of the Best Kept Gardens prize.
This is a great achievement for the volunteers at such a small station and it's also a massive tribute to the continued success and commitment of the founder members, Peter and Heather Hammond and Tony and Barbara Icke, who began the hard work of improving our station in 2007. This is a landmark year for the 'gang of four' as it brings them a tenth award in ten years.
Look out for new projects in 2017 as we do more to improve travellers' first experience of our village.
