Sandbach M6 Improvements
Many of us, when making our way North on the M6 back to Chelford, have struggled with the dilemma to stick with the crawling traffic until Junction 18 or to leave the motorway at Junction 17 only to cope with the horrors of trying to get on to the Holmes Chapel road.
Major roadworks are just about to begin today (November 3rd) and once completed, there will be a single lane roundabout to ease the problems for north-bound traffic leaving the M6 at Junction 17.
During the period of the work, there will be traffic disruption in the area, particularly between 20.00 and 05.00 as the work will largely be carried out at night.
The work is being carried out by the Highways Agency. For more information, click here
