Shell Garage Expansion Plans
A planning application to expand the Shell Garage at Chelford Roundabout has been lodged with Cheshire East Council.
The application covers the removal of existing below ground fuel storage tanks and installation of 2 new 60,000 litre double skin below ground storage tanks.
It also deals with the removal of existing forecourt canopy and installation of a new steel framed version with a modern appearance, complimented with recessed energy saving lighting. The new larger canopy will be at an increased clear height of 4.5m minimum.
A further intention is to include new pump islands and pumps and improved layout to allow passing lanes all to ease congestion.
The planning application number is 15/5807M. If you have any views on the suitability of this development, you may comment on it via the Cheshire East Council Planning website here.
