Residents have expressed concern at speeding traffic through the village for some years. In attempt to alert motorists, the previous Parish Council had two speed indicator displays installed at either end of the village on main road. Although speed indicators have made a difference, some drivers still choose to ignore the warnings. However, residents have now expressed concern at traffic exceeding the speed limit on minor roads. In particular, cars are driving far too fast down Dixon Drive and there is concern that an accident will occur unless drivers observe the 30 mph limit. Drivers are respectfully asked to observe speed limits and not to create potential dangers by breaking the law. Keep Chelford roads safe please and take your foot of the pedal!
