Steam Trains Running Through Chelford
The 'Scarborough Flyer' operated by The Railway Touring Company starts again on the
25th July and runs every Friday (except 22nd August) through until 5th September.
The scheduled locomotives this year are either 46233 (Duchess of Sutherland) or 70013 (Oliver Cromwell).
Likely passing times through Chelford are the same as last year (07:25 northbound and 22:05 on the return to Crewe, both subject to confirmation).
There are also 'North Wales Coast Express' steam trains scheduled for Sundays 3rd and 10th August and 7th September and 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' Saturday workings on 30th August and 6th and 13th September. Operating locomotives are yet to be defined.
