Teddy Bears' Picnic
It really was a case of 'if you go down in the mud today' so the picnic was held in the School Hall, due to the weather.
Lots of people came, with their teddy bears (some grown-ups brought theirs too) — we even had a unicorn put in an appearance.
The children ate teddy bear shaped crisps, grapes and teddy bear shaped sweeties as well as teddy bear face biscuits which were made by Mrs Adams with Year 6 pupils (made the day before the picnic) in the school kitchen.
Miss Barlow led the children and parents/grandparents in Teddy Bear songs and games, finishing with reading the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt. A lovely time was had by all.
