Teenagers start radio station
Two teenagers have set up a new radio station for Holmes Chapel, Twemlow and Goostrey.
Richard Mark, 19 and Bill Armstrong-Mortlock, 18, have joined forces to launch Dane Sound Community Radio.
It will be broadcasting on 87.7 FM and online from July 27 for a pilot four-week period until August 23.
The station will feature music, interviews, features and shows presented by community-based hosts and will fill an ambitious schedule of programmes every day from 7am to 9pm.
Dane Sound was founded by Richard, technical Director, and Bill, 18, promotions manager, and is supported by a team of volunteers from the community.
Will we be able to get this in far-flung Chelford? Don't know but it's worth trying.
