A Cheshire East school has called for planned housing developments in the locality to be suspended because it is at breaking point and couldn't cope with any more pupils.

Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School and Sixth Form College has taken the unprecedented step of contacting the council's planning committee, councillors and election candidates to warn it cannot take any more children.
