Chelford School has been very successful with their gardening projects. There was the fantastic news that they had achieved the top Level 5 of the RHS School Gardening Award and Chelford is now a 'Five Star Gardening School".

Successful Gardeners

The school has been awarded: £200 of National Gardening Gift Vouchers, a framed certificate, two 'Five Star Gardening School' display panels and the RHS official 'Five Star Gardening Schools' logo to display on letters and documents

Earlier this year they won a magnificent prize in a competition organised by Cheshire Life.
Last week, that prize was installed and now everyone has a lovely gazebo to enjoy, whether it's for reading, doing some outdoor lessons or just watching the world go by for a while.

It's a lovely, practical prize and, as you can see from the pictures, is a great reward for the gardening skills and ingenuity of all at the school.

Thanks go to Mrs Adams, the children and the volunteer helpers, Mrs Bluck,
Mrs Adshead, Ms Butterworth and all those who have helped over the past few years
