Urgent Legal advice Needed!
Chelford Tenants & Residents Association (CTARA) is a not for profit voluntary organisation improving the lives of the community of Chelford and the wider area.
The Association was this year awarded the "Queens Award for Voluntary service" the MBE for Volunteer Groups.
CTARA has been approached by Peaks & Plains Housing Trust to sign a Licence Agreement to continue with the use of Astle Court Community Room. This community room was given to the whole of the community of Chelford by Macclesfield Borough Council when the properties in Astle Court were developed.
CTARA has asked Peaks and Plains if they would cover the costs of CTARA to engage an independent solicitor of their own choosing to examine the licence agreement, but they have unfortunately declined.
CTARA and the many voluntary user groups of Astle Court Community Room are understandably anxious about this current situation and feel it would be very unwise for them to sign any document without legal advice.
We are therefore seeking the donation of free legal advice regarding this document which they say they want a decision on by the 30th September 2015.
If there is anyone out there can help us then please contact Mike Jehan (Chair) 01625 861038 or email@example.com
