Well Done Volunteers
Those who travel along Dixon Drive (Egerton Arms end) will have noticed some frenzied activity over the last few Wednesday afternoons. A group of residents have joined together, to tidy up the kerb side of the road and the volunteers are slowly working their way down the road making significant improvement to the appearance of the kerbside and removing considerable soil and weeds. So next time you walk or drive along the road on a Wednesday afternoon and you see them working to improve the roadside, stop and give them a pat on the back and say thank you. Everyone benefits from this voluntary work. You may argue that the Council should be doing this work, not residents, but there is a simple answer to that argument.
