What a fantastic Chelford Drama Festival

And here are the results:

Chelford Players swept the board to win Best Junior Play and Best
Senior Play.

Nick Munday and Chrissy Stannard were both nominated for Best
Senior Individual actor with Chrissy winning this and Rob Stannard on lights
received the Adjudicator's Special Award.

We also had two nominations for best junior actor in Rose Mendham and Jake Bessant, but they were pipped at the post by Jamie Bennett from Altrincham Creative Theatre School.

Best Youth Play:Stagecoach Nantwich- D.N.A. by Dennis Kelly
Best Individual Youth Performance; Anastasia Bancks in the part of 'Leah'- Stagecoach Nantwich
Best Senior Play All by Myself by Robert Scott, Chelford Players
Best Senior Individual performance-Chrissy Stannard in the part of 'Ashworth'- Chelford Players
Adjudicators Special Award: Robert Stannard, Chelford Players

Chelford Players now go on to Wilmslow Guild Festival at Wilmslow Guild, Bourne Street, Wilmslow on Wednesday 22nd June 7.30pm, so if you didn't manage to make it last week you still have a chance to see them. Tickets available from tickets@wgp.org.uk
