Chelford Together, due to their increased catering and meals provided at Chelford Community Hub, have recently registered with the local authority.
For many years Mike Jehan and David Kent as volunteers have made the community facility a place for people to get together with delicious, safe food. Mike and David used to run their own restaurant in Lincolnshire and it was one of the first restaurants in the country to run their own cookery school.
David also previously lectured in Hospitality and Catering including a position of Head of Catering setting up catering courses and facilities from scratch in a college in Lincolnshire. David also provided consultancy work delivering food hygiene courses throughout the country to a range of clients including Birds Eye Foods, Thorntons Chocolates, Nursing Homes, Caravan Parks and small businesses.
Following an inspection this week, including observation of practices and the food safety measures in place Chelford Together are proud to have received the top rating of 5 stars, giving our diners the knowledge that we take all steps possible to provide safe and tasty food.
