Chelford Together were out supporting David Wilson Homes charity cycle race on Thursday.
Employees of David Wilson Homes got on their bikes for a race of about 100 miles to raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Hospital on Thursday. The riders had check points at several David Wilson Homes sites, and Chelford was one of these. Volunteers of Chelford Together baked some cakes for the riders to increase their sugar levels at the stop and cheer them on after a short stop.
The remaining cakes were eagerly consumed by the builders at the site during their lunch break! Chelford Together and Chelford Community Hub are grateful for the on going support from David Wilson Homes which has included the purchase of the last defibrillator cabinet for Chelford, donations of plants and shrubs left over from their landscaping of the new show homes and enough tea bags and sugar to last us a year!
