If you've been over the bridge on Soss Moss Lane, heading to Welsh Row, you'll probably have wondered why so many cars were parked and people were taking photographs. Yes, the A34 bypass looks more like a canal than a road in the 'dip'.
The bypass is still closed in both directions due to flooding following heavy rain at the weekend.
Thanks to Alison Sheppard for the pictures. Alison was told that the flood was due to failure of the three pumps ( they're somewhere under the water). The green box, visible in the picture is the electrical supply for the pumps.
Cheshire East highways said on Twitter: "Due to heavy rainfall over the weekend, we are experiencing flooding in areas across CheshireEast.".
