Medical teams and volunteers were out in force on Saturday morning, delivering the first batch of flu vaccinations to over 250 local residents. Using the Village Hall site, teams operated a drive through facility for those wishing to be vaccinated whilst seated in their vehicles. However, individuals could opt to be vaccinated in the Village Hall. Surgery staff had planned the event exceptionally well and the systems worked extremely efficiently, with the weather an added bonus. A number of residents volunteered to direct traffic into and around the car park, whilst others gave admin support to the doctors and nurses administering the vaccine. This was the first of a series of vaccination sessions to be held over the coming weeks.

Saturday 24th October 9.00am-1.00pm
Wednesday 4th November 12.00pm-5.30pm
Wednesday 11th November 12.00pm-5.30pm
All those eligible for the vaccination receive notification confirming time and date for their appointment.
