On Sunday 24th February, Chelford Scout Hut hosted the 2019 Charity Ride Out in aid of Blood Bikes, a national organisation that provides free, out of hours transportation for the NHS.
They transport donated blood and blood products to hospitals and air ambulances. They also transport donated breast milk to poorly premature babies throughout the UK.
Mr Joe Adshead, 1st Chelford Scout Group Leader, is a member of an organising committee of eight people from Road Dragons Motorcycle Club, who put together the fund raising rides.
This year's event was held in lovely weather and saw 66 bikes come together to raise a total of £751 for the charity. Everyone thanked Chelford village for being so welcoming.
Congratulations to all involved for raising funds for such an important cause.
