Lockdown restrictions in Cheshire and beyond will be easing from today (June 1).

The new measures include groups of six people now being able to gather outdoors in England as long as they adhere to  social distancing rules.

Schools in England will also begin to reopen today to allow pupils in nurseries, early-years settings, and Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 to return to class. However Cheshire West and Chester Council and Cheshire East Council have said their schools will be reopening at later dates – a list of these dates can be found  here.
