We've heard from many people recently who have been struggling to get high quality locally sourced plants for their garden in this tricky time of "lockdown".
Here's a really good, friendly and reliable local supplier who will deliver safely to your doorstep, observing the social distancing guidelines.
T & S Riley are a family run wholesale nursery, based in Tabley, Knutsford.
They supply a vast selection of basket, container and perennial plants. During the current difficult period, they have diversified to provide a doorstep delivery retail service. They deliver at no charge within a radius of 10 miles of the nursery, which means we're fine for that in Chelford. The plants arrive in great condition, well watered and ready to plant if the weather is OK (be careful with annuals for a couple more weeks).
The time to order through to doorstep delivery is very rapid (next day for the people we know who have had deliveries).
Stocks are replenished every day around lunchtime, so it's worth keeping an eye on the website as new types of plants become available.
