Our first meeting of 2019 was opened by our President, Ann who thanked everyone for all their efforts last year and then went through our normal paperwork and outlined this year's trips, visits and workshops.
We were then introduced to our speaker for the night, Alison Calder from The Bubbly Wine Company who gave us an 'Introduction to Wine tasting,' this was a very informative talk and gave us lots to think about, when making our purchases in the future!
We then enjoyed a lovely supper, as usual. Our next Meeting is on Wednesday 27th February 2019 at 7.30pm, at Lower Withington Village Hall, when we shall be having a talk on 'The Lighter Side of the Law!' Why not make a resolution to come along and join us! e-mail: lowerwithingtonwi@gmail.com
