Over Peover W. I. "Meet & Eat" Event Gets Gets Off To A Flying Start
Over Peover WI are so excited to be celebrating their Centenary this year and as part of the celebrations they have introduced a "Meet & Eat" event which will run through the year at various venues. The event will alternate between a lunch and dinner so it gives everyone the chance to be involved.
The first get together was a lunch at the Alderley Edge Hotel and it attracted 17 members, so a great turnout. It was a perfect opportunity to mingle and chat in a relaxed way.
The day was made more special as one member was celebrating her birthday having missed celebrating a "big" one during the first lockdown. So this was the big birthday plus 2 years!
The food was delicious and everyone agreed that it had been lovely event – they were really looking forward to the dinner in July.
