Some roads re-open after floods

bypass-flood

MANY of the roads in mid-Cheshire that were closed due to flooding have reopened this morning, (Monday).

Flood warnings that were also put in place along the River Weaver have also been removed, however some still remain and locals are told to prepare for the risk of further flooding.

Rail links across the county appear to be back to normal after the mid Cheshire line was disrupted over the weekend due to flooding in Chester.

Acton Lane in Acton Bridge remains closed both ways from the A49 Warrington Road to Strawberry Lane.
