Chelford Together held its summer fair on Saturday afternoon, and after a rainy morning the sun shone on us for the event.
The event had its usual stalls including some delicious home made cakes, jams and pickles made by members of the craft group which meet every Friday morning in Chelford Community Hub. The garden group also has been resurrected and it provided a large selection of plants for sale, this group over the coming months will start to get the area around Chelford Community Hub greatly improved with new plantings and tidying up!
Many thanks were also due to Josie Hopkinson who volunteers and delivers the carers "Flower Power" flower arranging sessions whowe attendees made some lovely arrangements for sale.
All the monies raised will help Chelford Together to deliver their programme of support and actvities, which couldn't happen without our fantastic volunteers.. many thanks!
Thanks to everyone who supported the event including the Chair of Chelford Parish Council David Wilson and it was great to see Bev and Sandra from Chelford Surgery!
