Some weeks ago, people in Chelford were delighted to see the opening of the convenience store next door to Boon's Butchers Shop. The shop came as a really welcome addition to the village which to that point, had been steadily losing the sort of facilities that make life much easier in a small semi-rural community.
So it was with much relief and pleasure that the Londis store, owned by Mr Karthik Marimuthu opened its doors. The shop is light, bright, well-stocked and a pleasure to visit and you can be assured of a friendly and helpful welcome from Karthik and his colleagues Shankar and Saravannan.

There are lots of branded products at bargain prices. If you feel in need of a smoothie, you can even get one while you shop. It's also the place to go for a newspaper, something that was lost to Chelford when our newsagent closed down.
