This year is peppered with lots of lovely events as Over Peover WI celebrate their Centenary year.
The "Meet & Eat" event was introduced in May as part of the celebrations and it has proved a great addition to to the calendar.This month members enjoyed a leisurely lunch at the Churchill Tree in Alderley Park.
It was a beautiful sunny day and a cool breeze was gently blowing through the conservatory as lunch was served – perfect!
Everyone agreed that it had been a really nice event and they were looking forward to the next lunch.Organiser Julie Haighton explained, " the Meet & Eat event is an ideal opportunity to mingle and chat in a relaxed way. It's also a great excuse to try out new places. We are already thinking of where to hold our next lunch."
